In an exclusive interview with ENA Tedla, emphasized the significance of the upcoming summit and highlighted the country’s extensive preparations. He emphasized that Ethiopia’s full readiness to host a productive and impactful AU summit.

According to the diplomat, the summit provides an opportunity to strategize for a more successful future, particularly in addressing setbacks like silencing the guns and accelerating economic development across the continent. Strengthening the AfCFTA will also be a crucial part of the discussions.
The review of the first decade of Agenda 2063 has shown progress in certain areas, but also revealed that key goals, such as achieving peace and security and fostering robust economic growth, have faced significant challenges.
