President-Elect Chapo calls for reconciliation and recovery
Maputo (AIM): Mozambican President-Elect and General Secretary of the ruling Frelimo Party, Daniel Chapo urged his fellow Mozambicans to understand that the path to peace, success and progress necessarily involves national unity, reconciliation and economic recovery to overcome not only the damage caused by the destruction and looting in late December, but also the structural challenges the country has been facing for a long time.
SADC calls for immediate cessation of hostilities
Maputo (AIM): The Southern African Development Community (SADC) has called for an immediate cessation of all hostilities in Mozambique in order to restore peace and tranquility.
