The Caricom Eminent Persons Group reports on its visit to Haiti

Georgetown (Caricom Secretariat): In response to an invitation from the President of the Transitional Presidential Council (TPC) and calls from stakeholders, the Caricom Eminent Persons Group (EPG) made an in-person visit to Haiti on 11-16 August 2024 as a follow-up to previous virtual meetings with the Presidential Council, the Prime Minister and the nominating sector leaders.

Caricom Summit postponed due to Hurricane Beryl

Georgetown (Caricom Secretariat): The Caribbean Community advises that, as a result Hurricane Beryl’s impending passage through the region, the 47th Regular Meeting of Caricom Heads of Government, scheduled for Grenada from 3-5 July, has been postponed to a date to be determined.
