Trinidad & Tobago: ‘Put the Columbus statue in a museum’

This was one of the sentiments expressed by several members of the public during the first public consultation of the Cabinet-appointed committee to review the placements of statues, monuments and signage in Trinidad and Tobago.
Caricom to ‘forcefully’ speak to Commonwealth
Port of Spain (Daily Express) Prime Minister Keith Rowley says the Caribbean Community (Caricom) has taken a decision to “forcefully” speak to the Commonwealth on the issue of reparations when they meet in Samoa in October.
