Georgetown, Guyana (KAIETEUR NEWS): On April 30, the democratic and patriotic forces the world over would celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the great victory of the Vietnamese people for national and social liberation. This was the culmination of more than three decades of armed struggle. The Vietnamese people had to confront some of the most powerful imperialist forces.
