Amílcar Cabral: a centenary for a revolution still alive

Born one hundred years ago in Portuguese Guinea (now Guinea-Bissau) to Cape Verdean parents, Cabral founded the African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cabo Verde (PAIGC) at the age of 32. This party became the main instrument for liberating his countries from Portuguese domination.
