Castries (The Voice): Never mind the huffing-and-puffing in opposition circles at home and abroad, a fortnight after the July 28 presidential elections, Venezuela continues quickly returning to normal after yet-another failure to hound President Nicolas Maduro out of office.

Castries (The Voice) The latest version in the revolving cycle of externally-crafted sad-movie serials explaining successive failed Western-backed election plots in Venezuela continue unabated online and off, but President Nicolas Maduro and the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) are cleaning-up the mess created by the major losers following the July 28 presidential poll.

Castries (The Voice): Frankly speaking, while the overwhelming over-enthusiasm behind loud calls across the Caribbean for Governments of nations whose athletes won Olympic Gold medals to declare public holidays in their honor is understandable, it also overly underestimates the reality that no or not-enough thought was given to what’s actually being asked for.
