During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, the President further stressed that the Gaza Strip is an integral and inseparable part of the State of Palestine, which has political and legal jurisdiction over it like the rest of the Palestinian territories,
The President also added that the necessary plans have been put in place to begin providing basic services for the return of Palestinians to their places of residence, in preparation for reconstruction with the contribution of brothers and friends in the world.
The President stressed that the priority is to consolidate the ceasefire, provide aid, and withdraw the occupation forces completely, and for the Palestinian National Authority to assume its full responsibilities in the Gaza Strip, and to stop all unilateral actions and stop colonies and attempts to annex Palestinian lands in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
He also stressed the need for the international community, primarily the United Nations and the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities to compel the occupying state to stop its ongoing aggression against our people, our land and our holy sites, and to stop the settlement, annexation and racist expansion projects, with which the occupying state defies the will of international legitimacy and international law.
The President expressed his great pride in the historical and solid fraternal relations that unite the two countries and peoples, stressing his keenness to develop and advance them.
The meeting was attended by, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Hussein Al-Sheikh, Advisor to the President for Diplomatic Affairs Majdi Al-Khalidi, and Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Arab Republic of Egypt Diab Al-Louh.
